On the Saint John's River, the Cleary-Dickert House is in the Historic Saint John's Quarter. A 1914 Prairie style home established in 1994, it is located 50 yards from the Saint John's River in the historic Riverside district.
Our bed and breakfast nestles in a tree-shaded cul-de-sac on the St. Johns River. The House On Cherry Street's French doors open to a delightful screened-in back porch furnished with rocking chairs and overlooking an expanse of lawn leading to the river.
Located in Jacksonville this restored 1905 Southern Mansion has antique furnishings and Oriental carpets. The Plantation Manor Inn is convieniently located just 2 blocks from the river, restaurants and antique shops.
Mill Avenue Bed and Breakfast makes it's home in the "Marine House" circa 1910, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. As the story is told by family members, Narcy (Hurst) and Wiley Marine lived in Marine Town, which is now Courthouse Bay, in a large Victorian home with Wiley's children from a previous marriage. When Wiley died, Narcy moved into town and built the "Marine House."
The Jenks House is famous for the warmth of its heart of pine woodwork and beautiful oak floors. Subway tile and antique Belgian tile abound. Step into the organic gardens, with grapevines and orange trees, and view nature's bounty.
In Jacksonville, at the turn-of-the-century, 50 mansions lined Riverside Avenue in an area known as "the Row." Today, only two of these fabled homes remain. The Riverdale Inn is one of them.
